I am an experienced nanny (11 years in the biz) and also have a bright little girl, aged 2 years 2 months.

A bit about me…

I am an Opera singer/Actor/West End Musical Theatre performer & Voiceover Actor about to finish a show contract in a months time. My fiancé is a Musician and Primary school teacher. We live in Chheddington with our two cats Gus and Winnie.

I have been a nanny in London and Bucks for over 11 years, alongside my performing career.

This includes many varying positions from Maternity Nursing, newborns, infants, toddlers, through to teenagers, multiples/twins and children with SEN/ND/Medical needs.

You name it - I’ve done it! :)

I am jokingly called the ‘real life Mary Poppins’ by the families I’ve worked for, because I love singing/music and play and adore spending time with children.

I am passionate about Montessori/Steiner approaches to learning and childhood. I am also a huge advocate for Gentle Parenting. I use these elements in my own home, with my own daughter.

I can provide excellent references from the many families I’ve helped over the years and one family I was a live-in nanny for, are now my own daughters Godparents and some of our best friends! This is a testament to how important it is for us to feel like family when we work together. I am still friends with many of the parents/children I’ve worked with over the years.

Other experience includes:
-Hartbeeps baby & toddler class leader - 3 years
-Children’s party entertainer for children aged 1-15 (giggle company) - 4 years. You name it, I’ve probably dressed up as it!
-Private Singing/piano teacher - 5 years
-Drama teacher at YATI London - 1 year.

I am also training to become a Psychotherapist with a special interest in Neurodiversity, continuing further training in 2025.

I’m also a qualified sound healing practitioner!

I would love to work for someone familiar with gentle parenting and play approaches to learning (or someone open to explore this) and the benefits it can bring to your family and your children.

My own little girl is happy, talkative, kind, independent and funny. We are carefree and kind with our parenting style and let her explore nature, climbing and play freely, whilst ensuring upmost safety. I believe the words you speak to your child now, will become the words they tell themselves and others in the future.

We are a Veggie/Vegan family but I am happy to prepare healthy and nutritious food as you require.

I have experience with most things from breastfeeding support, natural/home birth support, babywearing, potty training, weaning, teething, pooping, sleeping (my best friend is a sleep coach - handy!) and so much more.

I use basic British Sign Language and Level 2 qualified Makaton sign language systems within my work and with my Daughter to aid language development.

I have a great sense of humour, I am vibrant, happy, silly, a real nature lover, adore getting out and about, active, calm in crisis, loving, caring, friendly, enthusiastic, expressive and messy play/art/craft loving :) I practise mindfulness and yoga with my little girl and believe in a positive attitude to health and wellbeing.

I have extensive knowledge and experience with Neurodivergence/Autism/ADHD and SEN. I am an Autistic woman/Mother myself and several members of my family are Autistic/ADHD.

I am a compassionate human and huge advocate for equality… regardless of gender, race, religion, disability or sexuality. I encourage and promote conversations about this with my daughter and within my work.

I have an up to date First-Aid qualification and DBS. I have my own car spacious enough for an extra car seat or two :)

I am looking for a part-time role where I can bring my happy daughter along with me, or your little one/s could come to my home setting - whichever works best for you.

My partner works part time so we are fairly flexible. When I am in a show contract, I work evenings.

We currently have a nanny who my daughter is looked after by occasionally, who also has her own son and daughter. It works well, because they enjoy playing together and being part of a family environment :)

My daughter is currently on a waiting list for 1-2 days at an outdoor based preschool.
