My Requirements

CHILDMINDER REQUIRED IN PUTNOE, BRICKHILL, CLAPHAM, OR OAKLEY

Our 2.5 year old son is currently in nursery but we are finding the ever-increasing fees too much, and they cannot be as flexible as I need for my work.

We are looking for somewhere to cover the days that I am working (Tuesday 8.30-2.30, Thursday 8.30-5.30 and Friday 8.30-2.30), and the odd day or few hours when I have to work overtime, attend appointments, or do training. The ‘base’ hours may vary depending on my work requirements, but he will always be having a minimum of 21 hours of childcare per week. My ‘base’ days can also be changed to when a childminder is available, except for Tuesdays, which is a day that I must be in work for our team meeting. I am not required to work before 9am, after 5pm, or on weekends. I work off Kimbolton Road, hence the need for someone either in Putnoe or Brickhill, or near our home in Clapham.

We get the government 15-hours subsidisation at present, and wish to find someone who accepts this. He will be turning 3 in November, so this will be increasing to 30 hours, and we would like to utilise this.

My son is very active and sociable. He loves cars, trains, fire engines and doing art or anything using his hands. If he had a choice, he would spend all day outdoors running aroubd, riding bikes, or playing in water. His nursery workers say that he always brightens their day with his love of entertaining and making people laugh. He can also be very kind and insightful. As with every toddler, he has his moments when he is hungry or tired, but that is more with us as his parents than anyone else!
