About Me
I studied applied art at University so I am a creative person. I feel that this helps when working with children as I don't mind getting messy and being down at their level.
I currently hold an up to date DBS, Safeguarding certificate, and I am first aid trained.
My Experience
I am a level 3 qualified early year educator. For the past five years I have worked in an under 5 nursery setting, with children of all needs and abilities. I followed the EYFS, covering all of the 7 areas of learning. I would monitor each child's development, helping them to achieve each milestone and identify any difficulties that they may have, so that I could then help them in this area. This is all done through play, I especially love messy play. I believe that this is how children build the foundations they need for future skills.
My Qualifications
I have a BA in Applied Art and a level 3 child care qualification.
