About Me
My name is Chantelle. I am a mum of one. I live with my little boy and my partner. I also have a cat and two Guinea pigs. My setting is welcoming to all children and their family. I ensure to provide a home-from-home environment where children feel happy and safe. My setting has a garden with a climbing frame and mud kitchen for children to enjoy outdoor experiences. I provide a variety of activities and resources to support the learning and development of all children whilst children are also having fun. I also take children to local areas including the park, beach and library and regular walks so they can enjoy exploring the outdoor environment. All children are at the centre of what I provide as a childminder.
My Experience
I have experience working with children age 0-5 years. I completed my level 2 and 3 Working in Children and Young People’s Workforce back in 2014 whilst completing training in many pre-schools. Although I have mainly worked as a carer in care homes, I have completed courses within childcare to keep up to date with new knowledge. I work closely with parents/carers to ensure I provide best care and support for their children and their child’s needs
My Qualifications
I have level 2 and 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce,
Level 2 support learning in Schools and Colleges.
Level 3 EYFS
I have also completed training in Safeguarding, First Aid a Food Hygiene.
I am also currently completing level 3 working in home-based childcare
My Availability
I work as flexible as I can to meet the hours of childcare that parents/carers require. Hours can be discussed and adjusted if need be. I am also available during the school summer holidays
