About Me
I have been looking after children of all ages since the age of 16, but worked professionally as a nanny from the year 2019. Initially, I trained as a professional dancer, but when the pandemic swept the UK I could no longer pursue that as a professional career so began working as a nanny in London. During my training I would often teach dance lessons to children and babysit in my spare time.
I have recently returned from Canada where I lived and worked as a ski instructor, I found this work extremely rewarding as it enabled me to combine my passions for childcare, teaching and skiing. I also babysat for a lot of the families I taught regularly in Ski School to make up some extra hours, which helped me create a strong bond with a lot of the families I worked with.
I am friendly, approachable, bubbly and energetic, and have a good sense of humour. I find looking after children extremely rewarding and have no trouble entertaining them, as I have a strong background in sports. I also have a large amount of experience in housekeeping, having worked with families who also require me to maintain the household to a certain standard whilst performing my childcare duties.
I am looking to work for a kind family, who need the extra help of a nanny and am more than happy to assist with all aspects of day to day life; from morning wake up routine to bed times and everything in between. I am also comfortable with pets and have strong culinary skills.
My Experience
I have 8+ years of extensive experience, both looking after and teaching children from ages 1-16.
Recently, I worked as a ski instructor at Fernie Alpine Resort, Winter Sports School, Canada and left extremely proud that I was one of the highest requested instructors for children’s lessons. I would also often babysit for families I met through the Snow School as a source of extra income.
Previous to that, I worked in London nannying a 3 yr old girl, 5 yr old girl, 5yr old boy and 8 yr old boy. My work included both the morning and afternoon school/nursery runs, entertaining whilst parents were at work, 3 meals a day, day trips (zoo, parks etc.) bed times, bath times and much more. At times when all the children were at school I would clean the house, do laundry etc. During the school holidays I kept the children occupied with arts and crafts, excursions, various sports I.e dancing, and baking.
