About Me
I was previously an Ofsted registered nanny but have not worked (from choice) for a couple of years. I am willing to re-register if required and update any first aid and other relevant training required. I would describe myself as a substitute grandma, being mature, but am happy to go to toddler groups, sing and rhyme activity groups, toddler gymnastics, the park, beach etc and all the various activities toddlers and young children like to attend.
My Experience
I was an Ofsted nanny for approximately 10 years, having previously been a legal secretary. I wish I'd made the swap sooner! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in childcare, looking after children from 10 months to 14 years. I built a strong bond with the families I worked with and feel privileged to say that I am still in touch with three of the four families I have worked with, and the children from one of those families send me whatsapp messages, birthday greetings and postcards from their holidays.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE childcare diploma, I have undertaken first aid courses previously but would need to update this and, if required, re-register with OFSTED
My Availability
I am flexible on days but am only looking for part time, one or two days a week at most.
