My Summary
About Me
My name is Lydia and I am currently setting up a beautiful home-from-home childcare setting in Loundsley Green called "From the Nest - Childminding Services". I live with my husband, 8 month old little boy and cat! I am hoping to open in the Autumn 2024 once my Ofsted registration is complete so that I can provide high quality childcare that nurtures childrens imagination, self esteem and fosters an early love of nature!
My Experience
I have over 8 years experience working in childcare and early years development, both in professional settings and play/youth groups and have worked in varying roles, working my way from apprentice to deputy manager of a nursery!
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualification in children and young people's workforce, aswell as a range of further professional development qualifications and training including a level 2 in Makaton Signing!
My Availability
I am hoping to be open 3 days a week initially (these days depend on demand and individual families needs) and will be open from 8am - 6pm however, as my little boy gets bigger, I may increase to 4 days ?

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
8am-9am (Early Bird Session) : £7
9am-5pm (Full Day Session) : £56
5pm-6pm (Night Owl Session) : £7
These fees include the provision of 3 meals and 1 snack as well as covering the cost of nappies, wipes, resources and extra curriculum activities e.g. Trips, forest schools, yoga, sensory classes etc.
We ask that Parents provide their own formula for formula fed babies so that we can minimise waste.
For funded spaces there is a consumables fee of £12 a day to cover the cost of the items mentioned above.
