Hi, I'm Marsha!
I recently returned home after spending six amazing months in Germany as an au pair, followed by some travel. I'm now offering childminding services, including school pickups, caring for children in either their home or mine, and engaging in ssuper fun and creative activities they'll love! I'm also happy to assist with homework and provide general support tailored to your kids and lifestyle.
I have a genuine love for both learning and teaching, which makes this role a perfect fit for me. In my free time, I enjoy running and meeting new people.
I have a driver’s license but do not currently own a car. I only have access to a car after 4 pm, but I am actively looking for one at the moment.
My Experience
I spent six months as an au pair in Germany caring for a curious 2 year old learning all about the world for the first time. Despite the initial language barrier, we built a strong bond through play and daily routines. We had so much fun together! we went to parks, playgroups, music classes, and toddler sports sessions. We also enjoyed baking and trying out simple cooking activities, which helped him build his confidence and independence.
This experience was incredibly rewarding and taught me a lot about early childhood development, communication, and taking initiative. This is why I’d love to continue working in childcare. I’m currently enrolled in an online degree programme and hope to be able to teach in schools once I’ve completed it.
My Qualifications
I’m currently enrolling in a first aid paediatric course, which I should complete this week.
My Availability
I’m available most days as I’m on my summer holiday and can be flexible! Don’t mind either full or part time :)
