My Summary

My Experience

I predominately have experience working with primary aged children within school settings and within a Brownie unit. My experience involves supporting the teachers in delivering the National Curriculum, arts and crafts and having fun through sport and play. During my gap year, I volunteered at a local primary school in a year 3 class. This involved me reading with the children, creating displays for the classroom, assisting them with their work both inside and outside the classroom. In addition, I have volunteered on various school trips including the Eco Centre in Southport, Liverpool world museum, Birkdale village and Martin Mere. This experience taught me to be calm, patient and ways to engage effectively with children at their level.

My Qualifications

I have 10 GCSE’s, at B and above and 3 A levels at C and above. I am currently working towards a BSc (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS. I have just completed first year of a three year degree. I have obtained a sports leadership qualification during my time in high school, which involved me visiting several primary schools to create and deliver sports sessions to children from reception to year 6. In addition, I have a young leadership qualification through volunteering at a Brownie unit and planning activities for the children to gain badges.

After school, evenings, occasional weekends, school pick ups and clubs
