My Summary

My Experience

I have been providing home tutoring ever since i was in college (from 2014).
My professional career started when I started working as Special Needs Assistant at international inclusive school in Pakistan (2019-2020).
During Covid times, I worked from home as a virtual teacher to kids in 2nd and 3rd grade (2020-2021).
After completing my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology (2021-2022) I started working again as "Personalized Learning assistant" Beaconhouse Newlands, Lhr Pakistan (2022-2023).
In 2023 i started working Montessori Teacher in Premier School Pakistan for 6 months, before moving to United Kingdom for my Masters degree in October 2023.
Here in Cambridge, I had been working as Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) in Castle School, a special needs school from November 2023 till now, where I have privilege of working with incredible kids of all ages, each with their own unique physical and mental abilities. My role was diverse and deeply rewarding, involving a wide range of responsibilities tailored to meet the individual needs of each child:

One-to-One Support:
Whether they had minor learning difficulties or more significant physical and mental disabilities, I was there to offer personalized assistance, helping them navigate their daily tasks and challenges.

Behavior Management:
Managing behavior in a way that was both effective and compassionate was a crucial part of my role. I learned various techniques to support positive behavior, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment where every child could thrive. It was about understanding each child’s unique triggers and needs, and responding with patience and empathy.

Engagement in Learning Activities:
Engaging students in learning activities was both a challenge and a joy. I had to think creatively to make lessons captivating and accessible. This meant using hands-on activities, visual aids, and interactive games that catered to different learning styles and abilities.

Making Learning Fun:
We transformed traditional lessons into playful experiences, where laughter and learning went hand in hand. Whether it was through storytelling, music, art, or outdoor activities, every day was an opportunity to make education a delightful journey.

Throughout my time at the school, I grew not only as an educator but as a person. The resilience, joy, and determination of these children were truly inspiring. I learned to celebrate every achievement, no matter how small, and to approach each day with a fresh perspective and an open heart.

Bachelors in clinical psychology - 2019 (Pakistan)
Post graduate advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology - 2022 (Pakistan)
Masters Foundations in clinical psychology - 2023 - continued (United Kingdom)

*Completed Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for parents at NICU, Rosie Hospital, Addenbrookes.
