About Me
Step mum to a 6 nearly 7 year old boy currently on the pathway for an autism diagnosis. Lovely polite boy but can be a handful, needs lots of attention and loves to talk! We are looking for some help on a weekend, possibly 1 day a weekend or maybe once every 2 weeks just to give me and his dad a break as we don’t get to do anything together anymore, his condition dominates our life. We have no family or friends to help out. It would be a little bit like respite for us, as our little boy isn’t diagnosed, we are currently receiving no help from the government or anything. We both work full time so unfortunately have no time in the week to ourselves either. Little boy currently goes to holiday club in the school holidays and they say he’s very well behaved so shouldn’t be any issues with that side of things. He does require somebody who knows what to expect with autism children as he can be upset by certain things. Would love to meet a kind, patient childminder who has some special needs experience.
My Requirements
1 day every week or 1 day every two weeks on a weekend. 7am-7pm or times to work around yourself. Maybe the odd weekend night stay if he loves coming to you!
