About Me
We are a family five soon to be six who are looking for a mothers help role starting from mid July. We have 3 boys who are 8, 5 and 2 with another little one on the way who is due at the end of the summer.
We are the Trussler family. Unconventional in lots of ways! But firmly focused on fun, freedom and adventure! We home educate our boys and have extended periods of screen free living, we are currently having a screen free summer all three boys love being outdoors, playing Lego together, building dens and enjoy learning about animals.
My Requirements
We are a growing family looking for some additional help around the house day to day, as well as, help with facilitating time for and with our 3 boys.
We currently live between Tiptree and Colchester at a beautiful farm house. Our plan over the coming year is to add animals and cultivating a kitchen garden to our space which is very exciting and certainly something you could be involved in as part of the role.
We are looking specifically for someone who can be a caring extra pair of hands, eyes and attention for the boys. As well as the book reader, game player, adventurer and friend for the boys. For us as parents, someone who is happy supporting Mum at home with light household duties such as nutritious meal prep, tidying and laundry to generally lighten the load of the day to day care of the home, while we settle into becoming a family of six.
Confidence in driving with kiddos in the car is essential for the role as drop offs and pick ups for our boys forest school days will be a necessity in the role.
Our home educating ethos is heavily based around play. And we won’t be expecting you to teach the boys however, if you’re really passionate about facilitating child-led fun and heading out on adventures then the chance will certainly be there with all imaginative sons.
Hours (these can be flexible for the right candidate)
Tuesday: 8-4
Wednesday: 8.30-5.30
Thursdays: 8-4
May also be asked for the odd evening or weekend cover.
