About Me
I am a primary school trained teacher and am available for tutoring in English and Maths. I've had good observations from senior leaders in the classroom and positive feedback from the parents of the children I taught. I have always enjoyed working with children and seeing them develop and make progress has always been a rewarding experience.
My Experience
I have taught in various schools on the South Coast for 8 years, teaching all subjects including supply cover in the EYFS, Keys stage 1 & 2. I have also had responsibility for Reading across the school, and was involved in the Oracy Project in Plymouth, which was a practical research project developing children's communication and language skills. I have experience of teaching children with additional needs and all levels of ability. The children in my care have enjoyed learning and made good progress.
My Qualifications
I have a PGCE qualification in Primary Education, a degree in Drama and Performing Arts and an A-Level in Maths as well as 9 GCSE's above a C.
My Availability
I can be available most afternoons and after school apart from Tuesdays
