My Experience

I began my childcare journey when I started babysitting in my then road as a 14 year old. I went on to achieve my NNEB and since then have worked with newborns up to 12 year old professionally in various settings. I also have SEN experience both professionally and privately (with my 17 year old son). I'm a well being champion for the children in my school and I will be embarking on an ELSA course shortly.

Kerry sat for us this week and she was great and an instant hit with our 6 year old daughter. Kerry spent time chatting to her, asking her about school and her favourite things and making sure she was happy before we left for the evening. Kerry put my daughter to bed and listened to her read. I would definitely recommend Kerry and would be very happy for her to sit for us again.

It was really lovely to meet Kerry. She is very friendly and approachable. My 3 kids instantly liked Kerry and they told me afterwards they had a fabulous time with her. Kerry managed everything perfectly (even my 4 year old who was playing up big time earlier that day.) Hope that we will see Kerry very soon again. Can highly recommend her.

We used sitters for the first time this weekend and Kerry was our first sitter. We were both a bit apprehensive as we had only left our daughter with my mum so far, but Kerry was lovely. She was very friendly and personable and we warmed to her straight away. She contacted us beforehand and arrived early and kept us informed as to how the night was going. We will definitely use Kerry again.

My Qualifications

Diploma in Childcare and Education. Various certificates in understanding Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Global development delay. Positive touch training,

My Availability

During term time I am available in the evenings and in school holidays, I do adhoc nannying and evening sitting.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

I charge £13-£15 per hour for babysitting and £20 per hour during school holidays when I can work during the day.
