My Experience
With 9 months of hands-on experience in a nursery setting, I have developed a strong foundation in providing high-quality childcare. My role involves creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children, tailored to their individual needs. Additionally, my university placement included volunteering at a preschool, where I gained valuable insights and practical skills in early childhood education.
During my time working in this nursery and preschool I have had experience working with children aged 10 months to 4 years.
I also have experience working with primary school aged children (5–11years) as I have worked in a breakfast and after school club
My Qualifications
My relevant qualifications include-
BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood (First Class) from the University Of Portsmouth this has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of child development, learning theories, and effective educational practices.
First Aid Training: I am certified in first aid, ensuring that I am prepared to handle any medical emergencies with confidence and competence.
I also have completed courses in safeguarding and understanding behaviour which have helped better my practice and understanding of children
