About Me
Hello, I'm Abi and I am an Ofsted registered childminder for 8+ years and also a qualified Social worker. I am also a devoted mother of three lovely children ( ages 16, 14, and 11).
Within my setting I create a safe and engaging environment where all children can feel comfortable, have fun, and also aid their development in a positive manner by focusing on the key 7 areas of children development.
My setting is very spacious, clean, tidy and well organised, located in a serene private development in Chatham, which boasts of a safe children's playground and park. Within my setting children have access to different learning resources that will help in their development. This includes learning through books, toys and games.
I also have a large garden where children are allowed to enjoy and participate in outdoor activities in my setting.
Being a qualified social worker and a childminder I work closely with parent, schools and other professional bodies to provide a coordinated approach to support each individual child.
I posses a full UK driving license which makes it easy for me to drop off and collect children from schools in my local borough.
My Experience
I possess over 8 years experience as a childminder. I have been qualified as a Social worker for close to 2 years. I also have 5 years experience of working with children with challenging behaviour.
