I am a 20-year-old student studying politics at the University of Glasgow. I live in Paisley and am a happy and energetic individual, aspiring to become a teacher. My Experience
Over the past few years, I have gained experience in both childcare and hospitality. I previously worked at Cafe 77 and Blend Coffee Lounge in customer service roles, which have made me confident in handling difficult situations and engaging with people. Additionally, I have worked at Riverbrae School with the ASN Playscheme, where I cared for and encouraged play among ASN children. Currently, I am employed at Mearns After School Care, providing wrap-around care for primary school children, involving play activities and snack preparation. After completing my degree, I aspire to become a Modern Studies teacher, leveraging my extensive knowledge of social subjects and English. I also have experience tutoring a student in Higher History.
My Qualifications
I obtained AAAAA at Higher level and AAB at Advanced Higher level. I am currently entering my fourth year at the University of Glasgow studying Sociology/Politics (SocSci).
My Availability
I am still at University so my availability depends on my classes between September-March. My availability also depends on my shifts at MACS which is typically between 14:45-18:00 most weekday afternoons. However, I am free most of the time during the Summer holidays.
