About Me
Hi - I am Florence a 5 year old girl who has a rare neurodegenerative condition called CLN2 Batten Disease. I am non verbal and have autism and sensory processing disorder. I am still walking on my feet albeit i am rather unsteady so need to be watched carefully, I require 1-1 support for most aspects of my life. I love my food (by mouth) but I struggle with liquids and medications so I have a tube in my tummy (G-tube) that trained adults can use to administer those. I love Peppa Pig books, cartoons and being chased and tickled :)
My Requirements
Looking for an after school nanny 3 times per week for 2 hour shifts between 16.00 - 18.30 PM to support our 5 year old daughter with the following:
• To support with personal care and feeding as required
• To play with her and support her needs
• To take her out to the local park in good weather
• To clean up after her within reason (wears diapers/not toilet trained)
You will have experience of caring for SEN children/young adults. You should be able to provide high quality care/support and should possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding within the role. You should be hardworking, reliable, honest, patient and be committed to the role.
