About Me
I am an Early Years Educator and OFSTED registered childminder based in Camberwell. I have been an early years educator and a room leader in different nurseries across Greater London since September 2016. I am a mum to one child and an aunty to so many nieces and nephews. The name of my setting is MINI SUNSHINES. I am passionate and committed to caring and safeguarding children. I provide full daycare and education for children (age range zero to five). My passion for early years education stems from when I became a mum and my curiosity about how to give my daughter the best possible early years education made me resign from my regular job in the laboratory and went back to university to study Early Years.
As a level 6 Early Years Educator, I am competent in interpreting the EYFS as well as other policies and regulations as a childminder. My setting provides a safe, secured, warm and healthy enabling environment to enhance children’s growth, learning and development. My Experience
I have 10 years experience of working in daycares and nurseries in London as an early years educator and a room leader. I can effectively plan activities for children to learn in the 7 areas of learning. I recognise that formative assessment plays a crucial role for practitioners and parents to recognise children’s progress. So I strive to understand children’s individual needs to enable me shape their learning and development to prepare children for school readiness.

My daughter started with Maggie when she was just seven months old. I was nervous about leaving her with a stranger, but I was immediately put at ease by Maggie. Maggie is wonderful with her, provides lovely home cooked meals, age appropriate playing and games and my daughter is always happy. It's a long day apart from her at such a young age, but I've never doubted the care and attention she receives at Maggies.

Our 18-month old daughter has been with Margaret for two months and we couldn't be happier. She settled in really quickly and loves her time with Margaret. She trots straight in to start playing and talks about Margaret when we go home (Maggie! Maggie!)
Margaret is a really loving childminder and her setting is really thoughtfully put together - plenty of toys and books to explore without being overwhelming. I get updates of the day's activities indoors and outside, and what delicious healthy food she's been eating, and I'm often impressed by how fun and creative each day has been. I was apprehensive about starting childcare, but it has been really smooth - we've found our ideal childminder!
