Hello! I'm Isobel. I am a British citizen but from New Zealand, and I've just moved to the UK.
I've been babysitting since I was 15 and find it incredibly rewarding and fun. I love encouraging kids with their creativity, reading, music, playing outside, games etc and I am happy to help with homework as well as do some chores or light cooking if needed.
My Experience
As a teenager I did evening/night babysitting, as well as weeklong daytime babysitting during school holidays which involved a lot of creativity and outdoor playtime. I also had a nanny-esque role in 2022 where I lived with a family for about 4 months childminding on a fortnightly roster that suited the parents' schedules.
I have also been a support worker for a family of teens/tweens with autism and ADHD. This involved weekly one-on-one sessions where we would go on trips out and about (e.g. to the movies together). This was to build confidence in public spaces (with money transactions and cashier interactions etc).

My Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Biodiversity, with a minor in Environmental Studies. Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand).
My Availability
I am new to Cambridge and am hoping to get a job soon, but for now I am available at mostly anytime (except for 5 days from 20-25th June). I will probably still be able to do evenings or weekends even with the new job.
