About Me
I am a 22-year-old University student, born and raised in South London. I am studying French and Linguistics and will go on to do a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy, with the aspiration of becoming a Speech and Language Therapist. I recently did a year abroad in France, where I spent 6 months teaching English in a French primary school. I have always had a heart to teach and care for children so this experience was really rewarding for me and it is one I'll never forget.
My Experience
I have been volunteering with Bookmark Reading Charity for over a year, where I spend 1-2 hours a week assisting one or two primary school children with their reading.
I recently did a work placement in a small town in France from January to July, where I taught English to French primary school children between the ages of 3-11. I taught the majority of the school - I had around 14 classes and over 100 students that I developed bonds with and was responsible for in and out of the classroom.
My Qualifications
I have completed a Level 2 Course in Special Educational Needs and Disability. I will soon achieve my Bachelors degree in Languages, Cultures and Linguistics.
