About Me
I am 22 years old and will be living in Bath for summer before I start studying. I am a positive and calm individual with a passion for caring for children.. The parents I have worked for have commented on how patient and kind I am with their children and I find children respond very positively to me. I love to play with children and take a very fun approach to childcare.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare since I was 15 years old. I worked as an au pair for 3 months in Milan with children aged 3 and 8. I had the most amazing relationship with the children and parents and loved every part of being an au pair. Last year I worked as an au pair in Seville for 9 months. I was responsible for an 8 year old boy and twin girls aged 6, this was a lot to manage at times but I really enjoyed it and it increased my confidence caring for energetic children. For 4 years I looked after a family of four boys, aged 0,2, 4 and 6 for a couple of hours every week. I have also babysat for a family with children aged 8, 11 and 13 years. I also worked at a forest camp which involved being responsible for a big group of children outdoors and have volunteered at summer camps. I have 6 young cousins, who I have helped to care for since they were babies. I love playing games with children, helping to teach them and spending time doing outdoor activities. I can provide multiple references if needed.
My Qualifications
I do not have childcare qualification, just 7 years of experience and lots of references :)
My Availability
I have a full time job with a 4 day on 4 day off shift pattern (8am-8pm). This means I have a lot of availability and I know my availability far in advance. However, my days off don't always fall on the same days each week so I am looking for a family that is happy to work around that. I am very interested as working as a night nanny in-between my shifts and am open to all other times of day on my days off. I am also open to occasional or regular babysitting.
