I booked my first son Jacob a place at Debbies day care when I was still pregnant. We visited her and found her to be genuine, warm and enthusiastic. That was it , we were sold and booked a place for our unborn son.
Unfortunately our son became very poorly after birth and we later discovered he had a rare bowel condition called Hirschsprung's disease- a condition which left him with only a tiny bit of large bowel and therefore having additional care needs. I was worried when I explained things to Debbie she wouldn't want to look after him any more but we couldn't have been more wrong.
Debbie and her husband Glenn are fabulous. Debbie has taken Jacobs condition on board, and has simply run wih it listening to all the advise and requests we give her which include a special diet, administering medication , dealing with the unpleasant side of a bowel condition , and just providing much needed comfort when in pain. He is an intelligent, polite , loving little boy and we honestly feel Debbie has contributed hugely to these qualities .
The activities she does with the children are second to none; painting, crafting, sensory play, digging , splashing in puddles , woodland walks, trips to Martin mere and the local soft play - I could go on , and every single one is thoroughly enjoyed by the children who go.
My second son Max aged 1 now goes there with his big brother and also absolutely loves it!
Glenn her husband is also fantastic and is such a valuable asset. My boys love him as much as they do Debbie and I can tell - I just know they genuinely think the World of our children , and they genuinely care - that for us was incredibly important when choosing someone to care for our boys whilst we were at work!
A fantastic , passionate, caring childminder who genuinely loves her job and the children in her care.

Debbie looks after my 2 year old daughter and loves going twice a week. I love the fact that there is so much outdoor and creative play and she has come on so much from spending time with Debbie and the other children.
As I work long hours I appreciate that Debbie and her husband Glenn are so flexible with drop off and pick up times, something that I don't think I'd get at a nursery. Debbie is also great at swapping days where she can which helps me a lot.
I would recommend Debbie to any parent x

My Son started at Debbies after struggling to settle into the nursery he was attending. He went to Debbies having had a difficult 6 months trying to adjust to nursery and make friends, he was a shy little boy and I was worried how he would settle with Debbie. WOW! What a difference now he is with Debbie! He is gaining confidence and cheekiness in buckets, he is tolerating larger groups of children with more ease than before and he counts the days until it's 'a Debbie Day'. Debbie is lovely, as is her Husband, Glenn. Both instantly make you and your child feel at ease and are very knowledgeable. I leave my Son there knowing he will get the best care and attention in my absence and will be learning new things every time he is there and be more than prepared to start school. Not only does my Son have the benefit of a home away from home environment, he's also always full of stories of their adventures to groups, play centres, the library and more walks and fresh air than any child could wish for. If you are considering sending your child to Debbie, don't consider, do it.

My son and daughter have been going to Debbie's since September, my son attends after school and holidays and my daughter all day. On meeting Debbie I knew we had made the right choice. After not being able to settle my daughter into nursery, we approached Debbie. On her first visit my daughter made herself at home and we have never had any problems. Both children love going to see Debbie and her husband Glen and my daughter gets upset when she can not go. My daughter has had problems with her speech and the health visitor wanted to refer her to speech therapy so she is visited every six months, after this months visit the health visitor was so impressed with her progress she now does not feel she needs the speech therapy all thanks to Debbie.
Debbie works very well with us as parents and communicates very well on the daily activities and what the children have been eating. There are always art work on the walls on what they have been doing and we are shown the children's progress folders regular.
We feel at ease knowing that the children are with Debbie and that they enjoy it so much.

Our little boy josh has been going to Debbie's day care since he was 7 months old (he is nearly 2 yrs now) and I couldn't have chosen a better childminder than Debbie. She loves and cares for the children like they are her own and works closely with us as parents to ensure our little boy is developing perfectly!!! She constantly updates us on his new words and achievements and is as happy as us about them!! Debbie records all achievements and new adventures in joshs own journal and ties them in with key learning developments. She is qualified in so many aspects of childcare and it is obvious she loves her job. Most importantly our son loves Debbie and I couldn't wish for a better person to look after him!!

Our daughter has attended Debbie's daycare for around 6 months and loves it! Our daughter finds it difficult to adapt to new surroundings, routines and people however she has settled so well with Debbie in a short period of time that she becomes very excited about going there. Debbie very quickly picked up on Autumn's personality, likes and dislikes. Debbie has helped to build up Autumn's confidence in playing with other children and other social skills. As parents we feel very included and informed with the care autumn receives with a communications book, photos, a learning journal and general discussions e.g. we have worked with Debbie to write lists of new words and foods Autumn had tried. Debbie is as excited as we are when autumn says a new word, learns a new skill or shares with other children. Overall knowing that Autumn has a lovely time each week, feels safe and has fantastic developmental opportunities means we can leave her feeling happy and reassured.

My daughter Amelia goes to Debbie's Daycare two days a week and I could not be happier with our choice of childcare. We found Debbie on this site - as a result of not being able to fit her into nursery. After reading through her numerous qualifications and reviews we decided to give her a ring. Debbie is an excellent childminder- she works really hard with Amelia- and with myself and my husband- to make sure that Amelia continues to develop and learn to the best standards. Amelia is 18 months old and has a problem with her right foot called 'intoeing gait'. She currently attends physiotherapy. Debbie has worked with Amelia to encourage her with physical activities and does Amelia's exercises with her to strengthen her legs.
I know that when I leave Amelia at Deb's she is cared for, nurtured and loved. I am so happy that we found Debbie she is a brilliant childminder and we are very lucky to have her : )

My little boy has been with Debbie since he was 5 months old, he is now 4 years old and has started school. Debbie works alongside you as a parent, her equipment that she has and toys and all learning facilities are fantastic. Debbie will also access learning toys books etc from libraries and nurseries. Debbie will help your child to their best ability in all aspects of their early years. My little boy could write his name and count to 20 before he started school. My child is a happy little boy who can socialise well with other children he has grown in confidence and has come on leaps and bounds whilst he has been with Debbie. I would highly recommend Debbie as a carer for your child while you work she is well and truly outstanding as it states in her ofstead report.
