My name is Emily and I recently completed my degree in English Literature and French at Edinburgh University. I am very interested in art and film, so I am very much looking forward to the Fringe Festival this summer!
My Experience
During my time as an assistant ballet teacher throughout my teens, I taught children between the ages of 2-12, leading groups and putting on large-scale performances each year. After finishing school, I worked as an au-pair and English tutor in Paris, following Montessori education techniques to encourage independent learning.
My Qualifications
Having received 11 GCSE's at A-A* grades, I studied A-Levels in English Literature (A), History (A) and Art (A-Level). I then attended a French language school in Paris, acquiring B1 level language skills whilst au-pairing and tutoring for Speaking Agency Paris. This agency provided me with Montessori training, which would be used both for babysitting, and English tuition. After this, I began my degree in English Literature and French at Edinburgh University, which accorded me the opportunity to attend Sorbonne University Paris, studying various art, literature and film courses.
