About Me
I’m Kacey, I’m 20 years old! I have a DBS and I’m on the updated service. I have a full driving license and access to my own vehicle. I am passionate about helping children learn about the world around them through play, I’m trustworthy, confident, committed, respectful, responsible, reliable, caring, supportive and loving towards all, I’ve got experience of working with children of all different levels and backgrounds and giving each and every child the best opportunities is in my best interest. I work on a child based approach, ensuring all children’s needs are met. I also understand each parent/parent’s anxiety and concerns when leaving their child/children but would be more than happy to meet with the parents beforehand to reassure them and make sure they know that I’m fully aware of their worries and to put their mind at rest.
My Experience
I’ve completed work experience in 2 day nurseries (ages ranging from 6 weeks-3 years) and also 2 mainstream schools working with ages 3-5 years. I’ve got lots of experience with family children including those with disabilities, autism, ADHD, dementia and I also know a little sign language.
My Qualifications
I hold 7 GCSE’s, 3 A-LEVELS and I’m also qualified in emergency first aid, emergency paediatric first aid and manual handling. Health and social care at both GCSE & ALEVEL- Distinction*
Level 2 Children’s Care Play Learning and Development.
I’ve just completed my level 3 Children’s Care Play Learning and Development- I will get my results in August 2024.
