About Me
My names Christalla Bardy, I’m a mum of three (big girl 22, middle boy 16 and little boy 2) I’m level 5 qualified in early years and childcare, with over 20 years experience in the sector, working with children of all ages and abilities from Babies to year 6 and have worked with children who have SEND to, I was also a deputy manager in the private sector for two years.
I was employed in a deaf specialism school up until last July where BSL was part of the curriculum, so have experience using BSL at Level 1. I loved my role within the setting but had to leave because my sister in law who was the childcare provider for my now 2 year old went back to work and I didn’t want to leave him at a setting at such a young age.
I’m now in the process of registering to become a childminder with an organisation, but until that’s complete, I would really like to look after at least one child, so my little one has a companion.
