About Me
I've worked in childcare now for 16 years so have alot of experience with children of all ages and supported families through their child's learning and development and milestones such as potty training, readiness for school. I am registered on the Sheffield directory for childminders Wendy middleton I also help out at a local playgroup setting up activities, singing and music time.
I was a nurse before I became a childminder so I have knowledge and experience in a variety of nursing and health needs and also supported children with special educational needs.
We do a wide range of activities indoor and outdoor activities also nature walks, playgroups, library, park visits.
My approach is very relaxed and a calm attitude working together with parents to ensure children are happy and settled to come to my setting.
I follow the EYFS curriculum and recently received a good outcome in all areas from my Ofsted inspection.
I have a flexible approach to child care providing children a homely setting whilst gaining developmental milestones.good communication and listening skills and provide free early learning and registered on the government tax free childcare website. I do have a keen interest in crafts and do different craft work with the children.
My Experience
I've worked in a variety of nursing and caring roles from nursing in adult care hospital and community to childcare for nearly 16 years I have experience of caring for children with additional needs and supporting them and doing assessments for ryegate centre for diagnosis.
I also have experience of being a parent and know the challenges and so I am very adaptable in my approach to support families.

My Availability
I work Monday to Friday flexible with hours. I work in school holidays.
I don't work bank holidays.
7.30 am to 6.30 pm but can be flexible

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£5.00 per hour after 6 pm £6.00
I accept children who are entitled to free early learning hours.
Children to bring own lunches if teas required £1.50 a day
