Hello! I'm a mature student currently pursuing a degree in Primary Education, with a rich background in working with children both abroad and at home in Scotland. My experiences range from cooking and catering for children to organizing outdoor activities and planning engaging arts and crafts workshops. These diverse roles have equipped me with a well-rounded set of skills and a deep passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and growth with children of all ages.
My Experience
During my travels and work abroad, I gained invaluable experience in various roles. In Alaska, I served as an outdoor instructor and camp leader, organising activities such as hiking, outdoor cooking, canoeing, kayaking, and more.
Following this, I worked as a ski school helper and child activities leader in the French alps, where I also was responsible for cooking and catering to groups of children with diverse allergies and dietary requirements.
In the south of France, I took on the roles of a holiday rep and entertainment leader.
Since returning home to Scotland, I have babysat and taken on various jobs working with children, including leading arts and crafts workshops for kids of all ages.
Currently, I am studying Primary Education at Glasgow University, gaining valuable experience through placements and coursework as I prepare to become a primary teacher.
