About Me
I'm a friendly, energetic and passionate childcare professional. I have worked with children from newborn to 17+ and have been a Primary teacher since qualifying in 2021. I'll be moving to a local nursery as an EYFS teacher in August and working year-round so will be available after 4pm on weekdays, and most weekends.
I've decided against offering formal tutoring (for now) but would be more than happy to help with homework tasks, or tailor activities to any educational needs.
I love reading, exploring and planning activities which will both teach valuable skills and inspire a sense of wonder.
I hold a full UK driving licence with use of my own vehicle and an enhanced DBS check. I am also paediatric first aid trained, most recently during 2023.
My Experience
I have worked with children from newborn to 17 years old, including LAC, SEND and with a range of behavioural needs. I am trained and experienced in therapeutic parenting, de-escalation strategies and meeting the needs of the whole-child.
2+ Years EYFS (Nursery) experience.
9 months Child Advocate with LAC.
3+ Years Primary teaching experience.
Seasonal work with P&O cruises childrens club.
