About Me
Hi! I’m Charlotte, 19 years old, with 5 years experience working in childcare and I’m looking for some flexible babysitting/childminding work over the summer while I’m home from University. I have a drivers licence and an enhanced DBS check.
My Experience
I’ve been babysitting for local families for the past 5 years from children aged 4-10.
I currently work at an after school club in a primary school with children ages 3-10. I have been working here since June 2021. My role is a playworker, supporting the children with play. I also work at a busy bees nursery as a practitioner with children aged 0-4.
I have also worked in a hospital on a general childrens ward for a couple of months on a placement, supporting the nurses as a student nurse.
I have had a weeks experience in a special needs school, where I shadowed the school nurses and got to be in the classrooms, having an insight into their learning.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 Health and social care diploma at grade distinction star.
I have also completed many training online courses through my employment: Safeguarding Young People, The Prevent Duty, Health and Safety in Education, Child Protection in Education, Food and Hygiene Safety, Preventing and Dealing with a Child Choking, and Supervision Training.
I have also Basic Life Support for children training through university.
My Availability
I’m happy to do weekend work, daytime, and evenings. I’m currently not working therefore am very flexible and open to anything! Do send me a message for more information.
I go away at the end of August before going back to university so I’m free until 20th August.
