About Me
Hi! I'm a 24 year old freelance writer, and am looking for part time nannying opportunities for children aged around 10 months to 2 years. I have had plenty of previous experience babysitting on an ad-hoc basis, but my main experience is with a nannying agency in Paris, France. In this role I was a nanny for a 5 year old girl and babysat and tutored English for many other children and families from ages 2 to 10.
I am fully confident and capable in taking care of children of all ages. I love getting out in nature, being creative, and most of all having lots of fun! One family I nannied for included three boys, ages 1, 6, and 9, which I thought would be a challenge, but I thrived in this role and built up such a lovely relationship and dynamic with all three boys that I looked forward to every day I could spend with them.
After years of babysitting and nannying experience, I have realised I am most confident and comfortable with children aged between 10 months and 2 years. It's such a wonderful age and one that I find incredibly rewarding.
My Experience
8 months with Le Repertoire de Gaspard, a French agency in Paris where I nannied, babysat, and tutored many different families. I worked closely with a 5 year old girl who was experiencing tremendous grief after her mother passed and was undergoing diagnosis for Autism. While this was a challenging role, our relationship grew and developed into something beautiful, and being able to give her all the love she deserved was an incredibly rewarding experience.
Previous to this, I babysat semi-regularly for a variety of families in England. This ranged from ages 1-15.
My Qualifications
While I have no formal qualifications in childcare, I think experience is most important. Love, care, and respect are the most important things!
Education: I have a first class bachelors degree in English Literature and 4 A Levels graded A-B.
My Availability
At the end of June, I am leaving my full-time job. This means July until September I am completely flexible for part-time or full-time work, evenings, and weekends. In September I am starting a part-time masters which is one day a week, but aside from that I will remain fully flexible. I will be able to start working in June and expand my hours in July.
