About Me
I have completed my bachelors degree with honours of Early Childhood Education at the University of Hertfordshire, with a lot of experience working with children. I feel as though I am very patient, I have good communication skills, I am a good listener and have extremely effective time management skills.
My Experience
From the age of 10, I have had experience working with children. This includes babysitting, working in schools, nurseries and helping with my baby brother. From the age of 16 I started babysitting for different children aging 2 months to 10 years. Recently I started babysitting a 2 month old baby. The roles and responsibilities included ensuring the baby was safe and secure, preparing bottles, making sure she was clean, feeding etc. I always provided safe and engaging babysitting services and made sure the physical and emotional wellbeing of the children was my top priority at all times. From my university course and past experiences I went into this placement with knowledge and ideas. Some roles and responsibilities were protecting and promoting the health and well-being of children, ensuring that safeguarding procedures were followed, promoting positive relationships with other practitioners in the early years setting and supporting children’s holistic learning and development through play.
My Qualifications
I am a level 6 early years practitioner.
I have also graduated my degree with a First.
