Hiya! My name is Millie and I have been working in Early Childhood Education and Care for the last six years. I am a caring, patient, and playful person and truly have a passion for the early years. I am flexible with my hours and will work closely with the family to provide the best care possible. As well as caring for children I am able to support the family by helping to keep a clean and tidy home, providing healthy home-cooked meals and snacks, and caring for pets.
My Experience
I have recently gained my foundation degree in Early Years Education and will be graduating with my Early Years Education BA Hons in September 2024. I have a wide range of experience from working with young babies to preschool-aged children. I gained my level two and level three early years qualifications through apprenticeships and have continued to develop my career whilst studying. Whilst studying for my degrees I have continued to work four days a week and have been able to successfully manage my time and further develop my time efficiency skills.
I have worked in a range of early years settings gaining experience with children of all ages from small local preschools, to baby rooms, and more recently a school-based nursery. I have experience with bottle feeding, safe sleep routines, preparing healthy snacks and meals for children, weaning, potty/toilet training, and supporting children's holistic health and wellbeing.
