About Me
Hello! My name is Eve and I'm a 24 year old English graduate. I have worked in a mainstream school in the SEN department for three and a half years, working with students with range of additional needs.
I specialise in Literacy and English and am familiar with the primary and secondary school curriculum. I have certifications in Autism Awareness, ADHD Awareness, and Downs Syndrome awareness. I also have extensive knowledge regarding Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and the four areas of need.
My Experience
I have private tutoring experienced working with SEN students at a primary and secondary level, specialising in Literacy; specifically inference. I have run small groups sessions focusing on inference skills and lower level literacy. I also have experience tutoring KS1 and EYFS mathematics.
My aim is to help every child enjoy learning and to build their confidence so they they feel happier in the classroom and are able to fulfil their potential.
My classroom is a calm, safe environment for students to thrive in and get the best possible outcomes. Every opinion is valued and I encourage my students to discuss their ideas. especially if they are different.
