Hi, I’m Millie, 22 years old, I’m originally from North Wales but currently living in Liverpool City Centre. I love the outdoors, cooking, crafts, reading, watching movies and making memories.
My Experience
I work for cancer services within the NHS and study at Liverpool John Moores univeristy. I plan to become an Au Pair next year once I graduate, until this, I'm looking for ad-hoc/part time babysitting work throughout the summer holidays and for alongside university.
I have 12 years of experience with children, of which most of my experience has come from caring for my niece aged 12 and nephew aged 5, who I love dearly. Both are big personalities! Since my niece and nephew were born, I have cared for them regularly, including multiple days and overnight care. I have experience caring for groups of children too.
Professionally I have 2 years experience working 1-2-1 with a girl with special needs . I adored working with this bubbly girl as she had a many interests and hobbies I was able to assist with, including Paddle boarding, football and visiting places with her friends. We built a friendship where she trusted me and felt comfortable with me.
I have a strong passion that children should experience as much as they can and make memories that will last forever. We are all children at heart, so ensuring I make a safe, happy and friendly environment for the children I care for is my priority.
My Qualifications
Although I do not have any childcare qualifications, I have all GCSEs and A-Levels, as well as being 3 years into my university degree.
