About Me

Hi there, my name is Naomi! I'm 25 years old and have just finished studying in the south of Spain after living there for 7 years. I've been an ESL (english) and french teacher for children for almost 3 years now for a variety of ages (2-16 years old) and have found that working with children is my passion and vocation in life. I love playing games with them and helping them with whatever they need, I'm a very caring and patient person and have experience working with neurodivergence (mainly ADHD and autism).

There is nothing more rewarding for me than knowing that I've been able to help a little one and guide them onto the right path and watch them grow, learn and progress! I consider myself a very fair person with good morals. I try to teach my children to act out of love, and when disagreements with other children arise, to try to stay calm and do counting and breathing exercises when this isn't possible. I pride myself on being a good role model and helping them work through their emotions and how to use their words in these moments. I'm a very active person and can match a lot of my children's energy (at the language school), which is why I think I'm a great candidate and why they sometimes forget I'm the teacher and not just their friend.

I absolutely adore music and play the piano as one of my hobbies in which I'm self taught. I speak 3 languages and am currently learning italian; as most of my experience as a childcare worker has been focused around languages, I have countless games and activites that involve language learning (another of my passions). Hopefully I could share lots of that with the children of the family that find me. Thanks for taking the time!:)
