About Me
I am a mum to a two years old and a primary school teacher.
I work Wednesday-Friday at my school where I currently teach year 3 but have taught in other year groups from nursery to year 6 so have experience in all primary school ages.
I don’t work Mondays and Tuesdays as those are the days that I stay at home with my son, however most of the time we are out and about at clubs like gymnastics and swimming.
I have been given the option to place my son into nursery another day so I am looking at potentially sending him on Tuesday meaning I am available for childcare or tutoring on that day.
However, if you’re happy for child to socialise and be with another child then I am more than happy for my son and your child to spend Tuesdays together.
I don’t work school holidays so that means I become available most school holidays, most of the days would need to be with my son unless it is a Thursday where he will be at nursery.
As a teacher I am also more than happy to be providing education if you let me know beforehand or for anyone looking at tutors I am available on different days in the evening also. Just drop me a message and I can see what I can do.
My Experience
I have worked in every year group from nursery to year 6 and have been teaching for 7 years now with the training years on top making it 10. I have lots of experiences with a range of ages and needs.
Being a mum myself it means I’ve had very hands on experiences from new born to now the toddler age.
My Qualifications
I have a QTS (qualified teaching status) in primary education that I gained from studying 3 years at Sheffield Hallam University in a bachelors degree.
I am DBS checked regularly as per my current job.
My Availability
Depending on what you require. If you are happy for your child to be with mine then I can do both Mondays and Tuesdays plus school holidays and if notified in time I could be available at weekends.
If you are wanting 1:1 care then this would only be Tuesdays from 08:30 to 4:00 and Thursdays on schools holidays again 08:30-4:00.
I have my own car and a drivers license so I can travel.
