About Me
I'm a 26 year old woman, originally from Northern Ireland where I lived for 7 years before relocating to Buckinghamshire. Currently living in Aylesbury, I am looking for a part-time childcare role as I complete my Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. This is in preparation for utilising my skills and experience to travel and work teaching English as a second language next year. I am a patient, kind and creative person, known for being reliable. My passion for working with children is a driving force behind my desire to teach overseas and is in alignment with my commitment to building a diverse creative portfolio. I enjoy photography, cooking, music, exhibitions and exploring scenic parts of the UK.
My Experience
I have experience working with children as a former Sailing Instructor, where I delivered lessons to 7-13 year olds. My additional role as a co-counsellor in a children's summer camp in America involved ensuring the safety and wellbeing of campers at all times. In addition to this, I have grown up taking care of my nieces and cousins. I am actively involved in volunteering in areas that promote wellbeing in children and young adults, and this year I will be assisting Single Homelessness Project with their annual community art exhibition. I am also training to become a Samaritans Listening Volunteer.
My Qualifications
I attended Chesham Grammar School where I achieved three A-Levels in English Literature, Geography and Psychology, taking me through to study a Bachelor's in Art History at the University of York. Prior to this, I took a year off to gain world experience, which included working as a Chalet Host in France. Here, I obtained my Level 3 Health and Safety certificate. Aside from this, I have worked as a Researcher and as Lifestyle Editor of the student magazine for 2 years whilst at York. I have a clean DBS check (valid from May 2024).
My Availability
I have availability most days, mornings through to evenings. I currently teach ESL lessons part-time, which is conducted online at my convenience as with my TA classes meaning my schedule is flexible. I also have my own car for transportation requirements. I have no scheduled holidays at the moment.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
