My Experience

I have 7 years experience in childcare, starting as a local babysitter in my village, and then taking on a volunteer which progressed to a paid role in SEND respite care from 2018. When I moved to London I joined two different nannying agencies. These gave me access to the life of adhoc nannying and childcare and I gained experience of all age groups.

I am fluent in BSL, conversational in Makaton, and have undergone different diversity and sensitivity training to be equipped to work with children with additional needs.

My day-day life is training to be a musician. This means I’m very skilled in sing alongs, can assist in getting practice sessions in, and can tutor your children in piano, flute, clarinet or saxophone for an additional fee.

My Qualifications

Enhanced DBS on request and currently topping up my old first aid qualification

I have psychology A-level, both English and maths GCSEs, and a diploma in flute as well as grade 8s in piano, saxophone, clarinet and vocals.

Willing to undergo any specific training course parents feel necessary for them to be confident having me care for their children, E.G a specific first aid course or extra SEND training

My Availability

As of now I am available all days of the week until mid-September when I start year 2 of university so will have more limited availability but most likely still be before and after school available, as well as weekends and nights out. (I will know more in September when I receive my new timetable)

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

£9 an hour for one child increasing £2 an hour for additional children. Happy to discuss this with parents and negotiate a fair pay point
