My Summary

My Experience

My experience with young children spans from working in holiday clubs and as part time staff in nurseries during my university degree of studying Early Childhood Studies (0-5) . I have also babysat and looked after children during the daytime during this time .
I then became a teaching assistant and worked whole class and 1-1 in the Early Years .
I trained to become a teacher qualifying with my QTS specialising in (3-7) .
I have since worked in a variety of schools- big and small in various areas as a class teacher in Reception and Nursery .
I currently work in a large school Nursery as the class teacher . I am gaining a qualification in therapy and wish to become a therapist as I change career .
While I am training I would love to utilise my experience and skills to work in a setting that encompasses looking after the holistic child - outside of education .
My background has enabled me with the knowledge and experience to enrich how young children experience the world .
I am often told I am calm and caring and I build up relationships with parents and all the children I have taught and cared for .
My dissertation was “what’s it like to be 2?” as I am curious about the complexities of young children’s worlds .
The current children I work with are always happy and we have a lot of fun ! I look forward to having new opportunities with new little ones and having lots of fun on our new adventures together !

Ba Hons in Early Childhood Studies
PGCE Early Years with QTS (3-7)
Lots of relevant cpd.

My Availability

I am available as of September - summer holidays would be a potential depending on the area .

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
