About Me
Hi! I'm a 19 year old living in the Aberystwyth area, and love working with children. I'm creative and imaginative, and I like to play with children. I'm also responsible and dependable, and take the safety and wellbeing of the children I care for seriously. When I'm with children, I especially like doing craft-based activities, reading aloud or building lego, but I'm up for anything! I try my best to approach children with humour and enthusiasm, and encourage curiosity and creativity.
My Experience
I recently finished a three month period in Italy as an au pair, where I provided full time childcare for a family with three kids (ages 2, 4 and 6). Prior to that I'd done a few years of babysitting for local families, which I really enjoyed (ages between 2 and 11).
My Qualifications
At school I studied sociology and psychology at A Level, which I find to be relevant to working with people, especially children!
