Hi, my name is Lucy, I am 25 years old. I am a caring, responsible and reliable individual and I have always had a passion for working with children. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising with friends as well as spending time reading books. My future aspirations are to become a full time nanny and be a part of an amazing family where I am able to support and be apart of their developmental journey.
My Experience
All throughout my life, I have always been bought up around other children. My mum has always worked with children so that has always been the career path that I wanted to take. I did 1 year at Swansea University studying Early childhood studies but unfortunately had to leave due to family circumstances. After that, I got a job within a nursery as an apprentice and studied my level 3 early years educator qualification which I proceeded to get a distinction in. I was in that job role for 18 months where I was based in the toddler room but occasionally helped in babies. Finally, I also do the occasional babysitting on evenings and weekends when I am not at work to get more experience.
My Qualifications
Level 3 early years educator qualification.
Got a distinction in it.
I had 1 year experience in uni. However, had to leave due to family circumstances.
In the future, I want to go on to do my level 4.
