My Summary

My Experience

I have over 8 years of experience working with babies & young children. I started my first job in a nursery at 17 completing my apprenticeship. Since then I have worked my way up completing relevant qualifications and training courses to complete a qualification in a before and after school club.
I also qualified as a level three specialist support teaching assistant in 2020, as well as gaining other qualifications concerning challenging behaviour - and how to manage it - in young children, as well as a level 2 certificate in understanding autism.
I am happy to show proof of any of the above before commencing a babysitting job.

I have worked in various nurseries as a long-term member of staff, as well as an agency staff member, which has enabled me to gain a vast amount of experience along the way.
I am a very patient, calming nurturing individual and I have experience working one-to-one with SEN children within nursery settings and school settings. Working in a nursery setting I also have experience in supporting children’s development, through play and planned activities, supporting their day-to-day care, whilst also supporting their emotional and social needs.
When I worked in a primary school I also supported children alongside their key lessons, aiding them with their work and assisting them throughout the school day, whilst also helping them with their development. I helped the teacher set up the classroom for the day, and provided help with lesson planning, etc, and sometimes I did cover teachers for short periods, to kept control of the class.
Needless to say that I have completed pertinent qualifications and training courses over the last eight years to improve my experience and knowledge of childcare and education, which now enables me to offer a professional childcare service. I have always enjoyed working with children and babies and it is the only career I have ever had.
It's also worth noting that I do have references/reviews if needed from previous babysitting jobs I have completed.

My Qualifications

I have many qualifications surrounding childcare & education. I have a Level 2 childcare qualification, a Level 3 Diploma in play work (working in before & after school clubs). I have level 2 qualification in understanding autism. I also have a Level 3 Diploma in specialist supporting teaching and learning in schools (Level 3 Teaching Assistant), as well as a clear DBS & and a Level 3 certificate in paediatric first aid.

My Availability

I work full time in a nursery between the hours of 7am and 5pm. I am available to babysit on weekday evenings with enough notice, and I am also available to babysit on Friday evenings, and anytime on a Saturday or Sunday.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My set fee will be £15 per hour, depending on if I am babysitting more than two children at a time or if there will be any late evenings or overnight stays.
