My Summary
About Me
Hi there!
My name is Hannah, I live in Bentley Heath with my husband John, my children Alfie and Leah and we have a very cute dog called Stanley. I am proud to be an Ofsted registered childminder, providing quality care for children from birth. Apart from feeling extremely lucky to be able to play a part in each child’s life; I like to know that I am keeping them safe, ensuring that they have good opportunity to learn, develop and achieve and that I am helping them to be happy, confident and independent.
I have good experience in the care of children; I am a mother of two fantastic, bright and wonderful children. Motherhood definitely provides daily challenges and keeps you on your toes but I enjoy every minute of it.
I am a very hardworking, outgoing and enthusiastic person and I pride myself in being friendly and honest with all who I have the pleasure to meet.
I am a very practical hands on person and enjoy cooking, sewing, craft, listening to music, singing and gardening; all activities I hope to share with the children I look after.
Children in my care will benefit from many stimulating activities to provide a creative, active and healthy environment.
Activities vary from day to day to include lots of free play time, craft, stories and songs, trips to local parks and farms, playgroups, soft play, various other places of interest (such as National Trust properties) and outside play in my garden. Babies will be encouraged to build on their natural responses and reflexes and will enjoy time together as a group and one to one time in quieter periods.
I work hard with parents to ensure that continuity of care is maximised between my setting, home and any other provision. In doing so, I hope that children feel happy and relaxed to be with me and that following a suitable routine will help ensure that disruption between home and care settings is minimised.
I am trained to provide paediatric first aid and I am constantly updating my professional development in the hope that I can provide the best child care possible. I am Ofsted registered and have been thoroughly vetted and checked, holding a
fully Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service. Ofsted will inspect my setting on regular occasions to ensure that I am providing a good level of care and it is my intention to reach and maintain ‘Outstanding’ childcare provider status when I am inspected.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself and my setting.
Thanks and best wishes
Hannah

I was a first time Mom, dreading going back to work. I didn't want to leave my Son with a stranger. Then we found Hannah and the Duckies!
The bond my son has formed with not only the amazing Hannah but the other children too is heartwarming.
As we pull into Hannah's Road by 2 yr old babbles away with excitement and loves his time there.
If your looking for a nurturing, loving and supportive environment then look no further than Lucky Duckies.

Aww thank you so much! We all feel very lucky to have your little one come to play!!😍
My daughter loved her time at Hannah’s. Hannah made sure she settled in well and set boundaries with her as she is a very energetic 3 year old!
They do lots of different activities and trips out and it’s nice to have feedback on what she has done for the day.
Hannah is very patient and caring and definitely knows what she’s doing. My daughter asks frequently to go back she loved it so much!
