About Us

We are a brand-new nursery opened in the heart of Hertford town centre - we are one of 4 branches. We cater for up to 54 children from the ages of 3 months - 5 years old

Our aim is to provide a home-to-home experience by providing a warm, nurturing and welcoming environment. We provide children with endless opportunities to explore the world around them and become confident, independent and creative learners.

We have four spacious rooms- Baby room (Bunnies) (3 months-2 years), Toddler (Koala’s) (2 years-3years) and Pre-school room (Panda’s) (3years -5 years), a lovely outdoor garden where children have opportunities to play and learn in a natural environment as well as a sensory room for relaxing and tranquillity. We also have our meals cooked freshly onsite by our head chef.

Our nursery is open from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. We also offer Early Bird start 7.30 am or late pick up 6.30 pm for a small additional charge. We cater for parents who need full day sessions (8am-6pm), or half-day sessions AM 8am-1pm or PM 1pm-6pm.

We believe that children learn best through play. We enable children to lead their own play based on their interests, by providing them with high quality resources that they can access independently and explore these in their own way. Our activities are planned in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a focus on children’s communication skills, physical skills and personal social and emotional development. Skills that in combination provide the foundation for all future learning. We provide a balanced combination of child-initiated play and adult-led activities that helps children build important life skills such as curiosity, concentration, creativity, problem-solving, while also learning new concepts, topics and skills.

Our setting and its practices operate in a way that encourages positive regard for and understanding of difference and ability - whether gender, family structure, class, background, religion, ethnicity, or competence in spoken English. We share and widely promote our Valuing Diversity and Promoting Equality Policy which will be accessible on our website very shortly.

We accept a variety of childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare account as payment methods and 15/30 hours funding for working and no-working parents. We are looking to include extra curriculum in the form of additional classes such as Yoga, Sports or Languages.
