About Me
Hi my name is Sophie. I am a very friendly, caring, well organised and creative person who enjoys spending time young children and babies. I love setting creative activities learning through play, sensory activities, messy and creative, routines, structure, education is all important. I Would be keen for outdoor time and little trips getting out and about discovering new things.
I can provide a safe space for your little one, I own my own 4 bedroom house in Norton, Taunton. I have a lovely usable garden space as it’s important to get out too. I am 35 years old. I live with my partner who works full time and and I have two children myself who are both at school but great with younger children they are 9 and 12. I also have rabbits and two frenchies.
I am experienced and Ideally I am looking at getting back into the child care profession gradually and for filling my passion of working with young children. I am available two days a week Monday and Thursday. I would love to give that personally touch looking after a baby in my lovely family home environment giving your little one stimulation and enrichment to help them develop learn and grow to their full potential. Keeping you updated every step of they way. I have great communication skills so could send regular updates of your little ones day.
I currently look after a friends 8 month old a couple hours a week. Be lovely to fit in another similar age.

My Experience
I have two children of my own who have grown up very quickly age 9 and 12. I worked in a primary school with age 4-7 for about 4 years and worked as a private nanny for a couple of familys with two girls age 3 and 4 and another family with a 12 months old baby and I look after my friends 8 month old son to help out. Most of my friends have young children and babies I do have plenty of experience. I am still in personal contact with these families who could provide brilliant reference’s. I have worked in child care settings from college at the age of 18 after completed a national diploma level 3 in early year childcare. Including nurseries, primary school and private nanny positions working very closely with these family’s and creating bonds between these family’s
I also have experience running my own baby and toddler group in the village

My Availability
I currently work in maternity US at Musgrove part time as admin/reception and I have been doing this for the last 6 years but I would like to get back to working with babies/young children I’m looking for 1-2 days a week. I will would try and be as flexible as I could but would need set days I am negotiable on fee for the right family and would take the time to have meet and greets to get to know one another to make sure you and your little one feel comfotable.
