My Experience

During my time as a babysitter, I was responsible for a wide range of duties, including preparing meals, organising activities, and helping with homework. My primary focus was always on the safety and well-being of the children in my care. I developed strong communication skills, ensuring that I could understand and meet the needs of both the children and their parents. This experience enhanced my ability to listen actively, respond promptly, and handle any issues that arose efficiently.

In addition to providing daily care, I often organised creative and educational activities to keep the children engaged and learning. This required me to be adaptable and resourceful, tailoring activities to suit the interests and developmental stages of each child. My role also involved managing routines, from bedtime schedules to school drop-offs and pick-ups, which sharpened my time management skills.

Working closely with parents, I learned the importance of clear and open communication to ensure that I was meeting their expectations and maintaining their trust. I received positive feedback for my reliability, patience, and ability to build strong, positive relationships with both the children and their families.
