I am Coralie, from Switzerland. Early years Practitioner, always smiling, positive and so glad I can have the opportunity to encourage kids in their everyday lives—that is, in their play, their imagination, creativity, discovery and their curiosity and overall beautiful and unique development.
I got a Bachelor with Honors Early Years Practice- RQF Level 6 / SCQF Level 10, with five years of experience, working both in Switzerland and in Scotland. Supporting
childrens from newborn to six years old in their individual development. Gained different knowledge by working for private, semi-private and public day care centers and nurseries.
I am searching for nanny jobs for about 30 hours/week, allowing me to allowing me to start my studies in August (every Thursday evening) to get the opportunity to become a part time freelance Video Editor and Photographer in the future, what will be a very long process to achieve.
My story:
Almost three years ago, I moved to Scotland from Switzerland. I speak French as my mother language and I have an english Level C1.
I enrolled in college after high school to pursue a career in Photography. I have held two term contracts at two Swiss magazines after receiving my degree.
Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to find a steady job as a Photographer at this time.
I have made the decision to pursue my second passion, which is pedagogy and caring. After earning my degree I became a committed Early Childhood Educator.
Furthermore, I have worked as a Coordinator (Officer in Scotland), what teach me how to be organised, multitask, and managing a team of 4 people. While working as a practitioner, I took care of children's aged from 3 month to twelve years old, with groups from 4 to 12 children depending of there age.
These two careers helped me become more creative, attentive to the needs of individuals, able to analyse situations and find solutions, always be adaptable. I also developed excellent communication skills, which are crucial when working with people and children. In addition, I improved my English to a very good level (C1) after moving to Scotland.
Working with children, as a part time job, with flexible schedule, would be a perfect match for me. Furthermore, I can be a good match view to my experience in daycare.
In an interview, I would be overjoyed to talk more about myself and my goals.

My Experience
I am specialised in pedagogy, sociology and psychology of children ages from zero to twelve years old. I have carried out, within the framework of my training, a thesis about the behaviours perceived as aggressive and repeated in daycare centers. This behaviour can sometimes appear before they got the possibility to communicate with language. I would be really glad to answer questions and support parents about any problematic that could appear. Every individual is different and have there own need, that is why it is so important to adapt to any special needs as the psychomotor, psychosocial and emotional development of each child is unique.
This, with the aim of using a pedagogy based on benevolence.
