Hi there, I'm Annie - a third-year student studying English Literature at the University of Warwick. When I'm not away studying, I live in South Wales and pursue my other hobbies in the arts such as crocheting, writing and reading - while also making time to take care of my three lovely dogs! I am currently looking for some work in babysitting and tutoring, with experience in caring for ages 1-4 and tutoring in English Literature, Psychology and Religious Studies. From my previous experience with both babysitting and tutoring, I do have a valid DBS certificate. Please drop me a message if you have any questions at all.
My Experience
My experience in babysitting stems from my two lovely nephews aged 2 years and 18 months, though I am open to looking after older children if required! I have around one year of experience, and I am eager to gain more and learn in order to provide the best service possible. I tend to do a multitude of activities while babysitting, as I place lots of value on various play and learning in the development of young children. Therefore, I like to focus on activities such as arts and crafts, baking, getting out in nature, and reading when babysitting.
I have experience in both virtual and in-person tutoring of 2 years, specialising in English Literature, Psychology, and Religious Studies at GCSE and A-Level standards. With my tutoring, I prefer to initially focus on making the students comfortable with the subject, and then moving into the difficulties they may have - rather than throwing them into the deep-end straight away, as this is where I believe anxieties begin to form.
