About Me
My name is Gemma and I will be a registered childminder ready for the start of January.
I am a mum to two young boys, giving me first hand experience & caring for your children will come naturally to me.
I am an outgoing, compassionate and focused person. I feel very passionate about supporting children to learn through play, I support this by setting up lots of messy play trays indoors and outside when the weather permits.
I enjoy being outdoors with the children and love to watch children learn about their surroundings and connect with nature. We visit many places such as local parks, soft plays, playgroups, zoo’s and farms.
I will promote your child’s emotional well being by providing a safe environment to be their individual self’s, enabling them to express their emotions and will offer gentle guidance to figure things out for themselves.
I create a fun, enjoyable and calm environment for my sons and look forward to welcoming your children into this, too.
My Experience
I am a mum of 2 young boys giving me real first hand experience of what parenting is like.
I have strong values around parenting and I feel passionate about taking a gentle and respectful approach to the way I interact with children.
I have years of experience with babysitting on a formal and informal basis. This has allowed me to successfully build up trusting relationships with parents and their children alike.
I worked alongside a messy play leader supporting to run the classes, engage with the children and ensure a safe environment for all.
I have undertaken relevant training courses meaning your child will be in a home away from home environment with the added reassurance of recognised training qualifications.
